What it does not do

We would rather you know the limits before you rely on it.

  • The AI is for simple logos and names. It is not a promise of professional-grade digitizing, and small lettering is a weak spot.
  • Complex designs, fine detail and small text still need a skilled digitizer.
  • It is not a stitch editor. You cannot move or redraw single stitches.
  • Conversion keeps the stitches as they are. It cannot fix a badly digitized file.
  • Resizing beyond about 10 to 20 percent needs re-digitizing, which StitchOps does not do for you.

Is StitchOps free?

The viewer, basic quotes and the thread and stabilizer tools are free, and you get 3 AI exports a day. Pro costs $9.90 a month or $7.90 a month billed yearly and adds format conversion, unlimited AI files and PDF quotes.

Can the AI replace my digitizer?

For simple logos and names it can save you a round trip. For complex designs, fine detail and small lettering you still need a skilled digitizer.

Which formats can I open and download?

The viewer opens DST, PES, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, U01 and PEC. With Pro you can download the open file as DST, PES, JEF, EXP or VP3.

Is there a free trial?

No. The free plan has no time limit, so you can try the tools there and upgrade when you need Pro.

Can I get a refund?

No. Payments are not refunded. You can cancel anytime and Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

What happens to my files?

Your files are private. They are never shared or sold, and signed-in users can delete them from the account page.
